Misc Writings, Fetish Context: Lactation Microbe/Virus
Below is a very unstructured writing practice I did to make something into something nobody actually used when it was originally made. Or at least nobody openly used it. The original idea was based on the SCP that was a kind of milk that gives you breast expansion and lactation. My intended application was aiming more at a sickness in stead of a logic-defying anomaly that is contained by a loosely funded organization. It sort of has an official name, but it's very much undercooked and under-cared-for.
The writing is based on the Final Fantasy XIV lore, and character. The character has since been discarded and unwrote from any stories or ideas, as it stands.

Lactation Virus
The lactation virus is a particular viral subject. Itβs cell structure is arranged in a way that resembles a large, steel milk tank, and the shape persists through mutations. Transmission occurs through unconventional methods, both through the consumption of the milk of the affected person, as well as transmission through transference of aether. The symptoms of this virus is more common in females, and include aching breasts, swollen and enlarged breasts, puffed areolas, and progressively more intense fits of lactation. Severe cases can often immobilize a person with constant lactation, will often result in even breasts that swell visibly, and sloshing in the milk glands. Depending on the subjects race or species, the severity of the virus can dramatically vary, but no trackable trend has been identified.
There has been reports of the virus infecting other genders, but to far less intense results. Additionally, little is known of what may happen if a pregnant female of any race gets infected, but it is assumed that the intensity will automatically be as high as the body can handle. Additionally, there are reports of some dragons also becoming infected with this virus.
If someone is infected with this virus, extreme caution should be taken, and if the infected user is traveling, an extra load of spare clothes would be advised. Further research will be reported on as discoveries are made.

Known avenues of transmission of the now named Milk Virus, formerly Lactation Virus have been explored further. The methods of transmission are including, but not limited to due to the nature of the research:
- Consumption of infected persons milk
- Saliva exchange (Fluid exchange occurring in kissing or licking.)
- Intercourse
- Transference of Aether (White Mages, Scholars, Sages, Astrologians be aware)
Other avenues of possible transmission are being explored.
The length of the viral infection period is unknown, one subject demonstrating symptoms and lactation for upward a few months. Some subjects have taken to liking the sensations, often asking to leave and live as they are, however to prevent a possible epidemic, the subjects were kept local until symptoms subsided. Tests for this virus are currently in development, but possible detects are regularly being proven ineffective. I worry that I myself may be infected and not know it. Fortunately, the virus acts more as an inconvenience, than a harmful problem.
Symptoms are being further documented as they occur. It seems I was infected after all.
The symptoms are as follows:
Early stages, low detection rate.
- Aching breasts
- Increased hunger
- Sensitive Areolas (Low intensity)
Full progression stage:
- Swolen breasts
- Lactation when provoked
- Light, often watery milk
- Increased sensitivity in areolas (Low-to-mid intensity)
- Further aching
- Further Increased hunger
Severe infection:
- Actively swelling breasts
- Unprovoked lactation
- Thicker milk
- High sensitivity across whole breast
- Often insatiable hunger
- Intense arousal
Extreme infection (One reported case):
- Swelling of breasts to the point of immobility
- Constant, intense lactation
- Extreme intensity in both breasts, and genitals
- Insatiable hunger (Has resulted in subject growing obese)
- Milk emits a strong, sweet scent and taste. (I have volunteered for this test, due to existing infection)
- Highly contagious
- Euphoric pleasure state
While I do not expect my symptoms to increase, our one extreme case has demonstrated a constant demand for food and pleasure. We suspect this will trigger a hedonistic personality trait in the subject eventually, and possible chronic infection with the virus. Caution is advised.

Treatment Notes:
As we have detained a few subjects, we appear to have discovered a treatment method. However a cure is still not plausible, as immunity to the disease doesn't seem to occur after infection has run its course. There is, however, a temporary disruption in the patients aether, but does not seem to be related to tempering or other aetheric disturbances common to bodily shifts in a similar vein. But we have seen a connection to The Endless Devourer's Syndrome, a mental disruption that spurs one to devour things whole and is not limited to food, where simply accelerating the process or allowing the effect to run its course.
Treatment plans are as follows:
Early Stages:
- Standard Maternal treatment regardless of gender and identity
- Simulated or conditional regular milking treatments.
Full Progression Stage:
- Full and regular milking process for 1-3 weeks
- Late-stage Maternal treatment, often involving specially designed garments to allow spur-of-the-moment lactation safely
- Regular hydration during milkings.
Severe & Extreme Infection Treatments:
- "Until halting" milkings, scheduled based on severity, one case has undergone this treatment for up to 2 years.
- Careful diet to ensure nutrients are maintained in patients.
- Post-infection rehabilitation and physical therapy.
- Partially funded clothing re-wardrobe-building.
As my case has not progressed much further than full progression and post-infection, a fully successful treatment could only be developed for the stages I experienced. Any stages further than this are still pending and produce varying results, oftentimes only lessening the viral infection at best. Further studies of possible additional stages, or stage reclassification, are also subject to further study, as signs that more exist beyond what we've seen thus far have shown after recent events.
