Harekumo Omomo, an Au ra Raen giant of rumor-ridden stories all told in the modest company of Lockwood Stonecutters. She was adopted shortly after birth from a drug-ridden couple’s hands as a form of repayment on a stolen shipment. Her natural heritage is speculated to be from either a small, farming village in Hingashi, or a submerged village in Rasen Kaikyo. From an early age she was showing signs of abnormal, near-monsterous growth, sizing up to an adult height at youth, and double at her contemporary age.

In spite of this, her parents, a Hyur Midlander couple from Hingashi, stand proud of their adopted daughter, even if she may not be the best mannered woman socially. Her mother, Yureruki Omomo, takes care of her as if it were her own birthed child, often sending funds, food, and supplies as if she was still a child going on their first journey. Her father, Layton Omomo (accepted the Omomo family name), was far more business oriented with her. However neither of them found time to teach her how to interact properly in a non-business social setting, often resulting in uncomfortable moments post-business interactions for others, while she is none the wiser to it all.

For her whole growing-up life, she spent very little time interacting with children, her early-teen ears often being confused for an adult. It wasn’t until she took her position as a courier and COO-in-training that she got exposed to interaction with others beyond just her family. Due to this, she is often picked on by other workers for her size and girth, boat trips lined with statements and questions asking if she’d need a bigger boat, or need to be pulled in with the freight in stead of by plank. Of course, she will answer honestly, occasionally with consideration for the dingy itself, each time resulting in an unintentional hurt ego to the sailors who man the shipment freights. In addition to this, she has no personal space in mind, and will often get closer to others physically than many may be comfortable with.

Her stance on the war with Garlemald is neutral and will often say it’s strictly business if she is grilled on it, but due to recent rising tensions, she will often evade the question or say what she has heard others say with a stilted tone that feels disingenuous and evasive, but when she is made aware of the actions of some, she will frequently respond with a pro-peace standing.

Her combat skills are limited outside of fencing, as she is an apprentice summoner with a summon that was called forth without it’s command tether present by aether. Due to this, she regards the Carbuncle as her best friend and her pet, naming him Carby. The two are often seen together, it perched either on her shoulders, or between her breasts. There has been occasions where she is seen with it far larger than before, and will often ride atop him as a mount. Carby often looks quite pleased when she does.

When she is abroad, she will often become lost if she is separated from the caravans, usually needing a rescue from adventurers or the more friendly tribesfolk of Othard. Due to her size, she is often ‘Kidnapped’ by the Horo of the Azim Steppes, and is regarded as a member of the tribe even if she may not be a Xaela. On nights when she is present, festivities typically occur, often resulting in what Harekumo calls “A night of all mouths fed” with a deep blush and very turned on look. Whens he is in Eorzea, she will often request for detours with the caravan to Summerford Farms to pick up a shipping crate of her favorite blood oranges, as well as meet “The nice strong man with the axe”.

Harekumo’s home is uncharacteristically large, and is often mistaken for an Oni’s home when she is not present. It is built-to-scale near a mountain with her height, furnishings widened and strengthened for her growing size. Though, even with her home built as it is, she still looks taller than she should be for it all. The home itself, is a size comparable to a Hingashi Daimyo’s own home, with it’s own sprawling garden and walls that unintentionally serve as defensive. In the garden itself, is a variety of local fruit trees, as well as the set of out-of-place Blood Orange trees gifted by Summerford Farms out of appreciation of her repeated patronage, as well as helpful investment. In addition to this, a large chocobo stable is present, housing a prized-bred Chocobo that has clearly taken on the same eating habits as her owner’s.

The interior itself is a cozy, generously furnished set of living spaces, often kept open-air during the day. It is staffed with a large number of servants, even for a more wealthy home, by-request with a number of different races present in Hingashi itself. Her room contains a number of bookshelves and gemstones, as well as tools to work with both. When she is home, her Carbuncle, Carby, will often occupy the spaces with a nature comparable to a coeurel being territorial, often running anyone off but her and her mother.

However, when she is abroad in Eorzea, her living is more humble and focused, but she seldom fits in the space without help. She lives out of an apartment in The Mists, a room furnished with a bed all-too-small and a desk far-too-big for the room. However, much like her bedroom in Hingashi, it is packed with books, gemstones, and an aquarium she often keeps unusual Koi in. Both living spaces are often kept clean, with the exception of the Eorzean apartment, which on occasion, will have shipping crates present from Summerford Farms.

On a good day, Harekumo will often recite a shanty she learned out to sea from the sailors, giving away her rather impressive singing voice, as well as her skill to project her voice. She will sing it often loud enough for the whole caravan to join in. When she is not travelling, she will frequently approach people she thinks are friendly, and try to hold conversations with them. When she is excited, she will wag and flop her tail about, the heavy-adipose-ridden mass sometimes causing damage to nearby objects.

If she is on a more friendly, often intimate basis, she will wrap her tail around the person, pulling them close and risking smothering them. While this is never an issue with her chocobo or her carbuncle, others have been sent to medics during this.

She will also share food with others, ordering more on her dime as well as sharing her own with an unintended effect of stuffing others. If she is with others who are of a heavier set body, she will do it with a greater admiration, and will frequently engage in eating contests that result in her wanting a little more than just food.

Her lack of respect for boundaries will also lessen further, frequently offering touches of her body as an offer of good will, caring very little for how public, or suggestive it may be, even of it’s in places that would be far more intimate than expected.

On her bad days, she will often pout and behave childishly, giving way to her more spoiled nature. Her tone will change to a fussy nature and will often request for extra comfort to help keep her mood from going further sour. When she is lost, she will frequently break down into crying, and stress over everything around her. When she is chased by monsters, this will devolve further into her throwing her weapon at them and making a surprisingly quick dash away. However, if she is cornered, she will resort to an attempt to eat said monster. Adventurers who have witnessed this, have likened her to a Goobue in Raen’s clothing. When she is at home, she will often behave more closely to a bratty noble, making higher demands and doing far less than she would normally do on her own.

For her to overcome these days, she often binge eats and cuddles with her Carbuncle at his largest size, seeing solace in anything large, soft, and possibly fat.
